Being a trade show exhibitor and being involved in trade show management are two very different aspects of the trade show industry. Anyone that has had the responsibility of setting up a trade show exhibit can testify to the amount of work that goes into it. Imagine though that ultimately the trade show management has a responsibility to every exhibitor in addition to the trade show visitors.
The trade show management has the responsibility of seeing that all the needs of the trade show exhibitor contracts are being met. This means ensuring that draping is available as well as tables in some cases. Then there is the policing of the allotted space for each trade show exhibit. It’s rare that any trade show is completed without some type of problems that must be addressed by the trade show management.
